Service Dept is always pleasant and on time

Took a little longer than expected. The system made an appointment for me at 8:15am. It didn't ask me anything except accept the appointment or not. It did not tell me in text or email that it was supposed to be a drop off. I have no other means of transportation and did not find out until I checked in that it was supposed to be a drop off.. he said that they would try to get to it as soon as they could. We were there until after noon. This is not the fault odor the staff who were wonderful and did a great job.. but the system needs looked at about making appointments like this. I wouldn't have accepted a drop off if I knew.. i would have waited and talked to a real person to make an appointment.

This is my second purchase with North Star, both with Josh Kosick as my sales rep. I was once again very pleased with the entire experience and impressed with the professionalism of the entire team at North Star.

Josh was excellent,,,,he explained everything to me. And was very helpful. I have texted since then and he responded almost immediately.

The entire staff that I have personally dealt with at North Star GMC Buick Zelienople Pa. has been GREAT! Awesome Jake in service, Tall Dave the newest guy in service, Super, Super Shawn plus Lisa the Go Getter are Fantastic!!!!! In sales there is Dan who was Great, Easy Listener when I accompanied my daughter Cassandra to buy a new car. Dan came thru with a 26 Buick Enclave as he also sold me my 2014 GMC pickup at which I still own and service at North Star. Way to go all!!!

The service manager thankfully told me about the 20,000 mile maintenance service that I didn't know about and was able to do it while I waited. It would be nice if when a car is purchased that a list can be given to customers with the mileage and here's what needs to be done! That way it can be put on my kitchen calendar and I could check it regularly like when I would have oil changes or inspections and see what needs done to keep the car in good condition and keep up with warranty requirements.

Jake is great as a service advisor! Efficient, transparent, and easy to work with! My services were all done same day!

Promptly identified the problem and fixed it. Though it did cost me over $300. which I was not expecting, the problem was fixed.

Quick and friendly

Service was done expeditiously and a problem was relayed to your service technician(Jake Stewart) and he immediately knew what the problem was and how it needed repaired. After I had the state inspection,oil change,tire rotation completed, Jake set up an appointment to get the repair done at an excellent price and it will be while I'm on vacation so an inconvenience will be not be incurred which is greatly appreciated. Your technician went above and beyond to assist and remedy my future repair and should be highly commended for doing so, Thank You.

I got an oil change and tire rotation done within an hour. I waited while the work was being done and sat in the lobby at the dealership with my laptop, and got some work done. After the work was done, I was able to use my GMC points from the app and apply it to my bill. Saved me $70 overall!

Purchased a car in January. Got a mile down road called salesman told him heater not working proper. Got 2nd appt in June they told me 1200 to fix. Sales was supposed to cover, service said they would check but I never heard back. So heater still not functioning properly and still no emissions sticker so that part I have been driving illegally. First time it was to be fixed in February the did not have a loaner for me to use, said they would call when they did. Never heard from until I reached out in June. Now have not heard back a second time. Guessing they do not want to pay for the fix. First GM purchase in years. Looks like last one too.

My appointment was scheduled for 12:30 I arrived at 12:20 my vehicle was not moved until 1:35 I understand getting behind but this is the second time I waited almost 3 hours for a oil change and tire rotation the mechanic was very prompt with his work I just wanted to bring this to someone’s attention

We have been going there for service for years now. They always treat you as though they are trying get your business every time. You can be assured tat you will be treated as though you are family. From Jake the service manger to Shawn the mechanic it’s always a pleasure to deal with them. when I arrived, I was promptly welcomed by my service person Jake and while I was in the waiting room I received a text to let me know that they were working on my vehicle. When it was done Jake came out and told me what they did and the cashier checked me out and I was on my way. I have delt with Jake since I bought my Terrain back in 2016, He's always treated me with respect and taken the best care of my vehicle. One of the main reasons why I buy me car there.

Came in for annual inspection and oil change. Jake greeted me and checked me in, the service techs had the car completed and back to me in less than an hour. I have been coming to North Star for GM Certified Service even though I purchased both of my current vehicles elsewhere. Jake has always been thorough and easy to work with.

Dealer is fantastic. Labor rates are getting out of hand though. Not necessarily the dealers fault though.

went in for inspection & oil change, all 4 tire pressure sensors are shot they said will need new tires before winter have them installed then to save labor cost

Service dept Dave & Jake are outstanding!! A few weeks earlier I expressed interest in a 26 Yukon Denali. The new salesman was excellent and I test drove this beautiful $109k vehicle. When I had questions the salesman could not answer he inquired to the owner to assist. The owner was surprisingly, extremely rude. It wasn't the answers to my questions, it was the derogatory way he handled them including arguing with me about what other dealerships told me about purchasing this or any other vehicle with my GM discount ( which I have done for many years at other dealers). I would not consider a purchase at your dealership after that experience. Perhaps he didn't think I was qualified to purchase this higher end vehicle?! However, that 's no reason to be rude. The reason I came back to service at all what was due to Dave & Jake.

They kept me in the loop with each item needing addresses.

Great communication throughout the whole process

I initially had an 8 AM drop off time scheduled to get my oil changed and tire rotation. Then I was sent an appointment reminder that said 11 AM. I dropped my vehicle off at 10:30, It was not done until 230. As with anybody else, my time is very valuable. To waste an entire day to have my oil change and tires rotated is absolutely unacceptable. Moving forward I will go to a different location for this service.

The service department is excellent to deal with. Jake and Dave are always there to help and answer questions. I recommend their service department to all family and friends.

My monthly payment includes my oil change and tire rotation. Every time I get it done I get charged. They get it straightened out, but Idon’t understand hoe this happens everytime. Otherwise it was very good.
