On a recent trip driving down Highway 79 to South Carolina from Canada, we suffered a breakdown on my Buick Enclave with the stabililtrak system causing intermittent jarring when accelerating. We turned off the interstate in Zelienople, PA onto a service road to determine our options, and luckily we noticed a Buick dealership up the road. After explaining what happened and our trip plans to the service dep't at North Star Buick GMC, they took my vehicle in the shop right away for scanning for the cause and found it was a rear wheel bearing. Fearing it would take many hours to repair and effect our trip, to my pleasant surprise, they put the vehicle on the hoist and started on the repair quickly. They completed the repair in a couple of hours and we were back on the road. We were quite impressed with our overall experience at North Star Buick from the Service Advisor, Jake Stewart, to the knowledgeable technicians who not only effected the bearing repair, but also identified a leaky shock and worn brake pads after a N/C multi point inspection which I appreciated. Because of time restraints, I politely declined these repairs and will take care of it upon my return home to Canada. Thanks again to the service staff at North Star Buick GMC. Very much appreciated. I tend to dread the car buying process for a variety of reasons. I was able to do a lot of research online and shared my plan with the team at North Star and not once did I feel pressured to make a decision or speed any part of it up. I feel that my wishes and requirements were respected and the overall process was really smooth. I really respect that I wasn't badgered and harassed about buy-ups in the Finance office when I was signing everything as I have been at one of your competitors in the past. I listened, gave my response, and we moved on. If more dealers were up front and honest about this stuff, as North Star was, this wouldn't be a notoriously hated process to go through!

North Star's service was as easy as it gets and Jake was great to work with. It was very easy to schedule and he got us in quickly, with a loaner, since our warranty was close to the end. He communicated often, keeping us up-to-date on the repair status. Drop-off was a breeze. Highly recommend North Star!
